1. Explain how the Friars started to write history about the Philippines.

 Colonial officials had the hard time running local politics so they allowed
filipinos to hold the position of gobernadorcillo and later on friars were
assigned to supervise gobernadorcillo. Friars ended up performing the
administrative duties and because of that friars become knowledgable to the
Filipino people in pueblios. And because of that Friars started to history
about the Philippines unintentionally.

2. Compare the form of government in Precolonial Period and Spanish Period.


 One is of which the Spanish government being an absolute monarchy,
though using a colonial government on colonies. On the other hand, present
day Philippines is currently under a democratic government wherein most of
decisions are made through voting.

3. Explain the customs on marriage and courtship during the Precolonial Period.
 In pre-colonial days, a wedding ceremony lasted three days. On the first day,
the bride and groom were brought to the house of a priest or babaylan, who
joined their hands over a plate of raw rice and blessed the couple. On the
third day, the priest pricked the chests of both bride and groom and drew a
little blood
