1. What is your take/perception of the following

A. Destiny
 Personally, we believe that destiny is merely a constructed concept that
the very fragment of life is written, weaved, and created and does not flow
with its own free will. Taking the idea of fatalism into consideration,
destiny is simply the fact that everything is pre-determined and inevitable;
one cannot escape fate, and thus, must surrender itself to the flow of life.
But as someone who believe in free will, we deny the existence of destiny.
On the other hand, we heavily lean more on the idea of Murphy’s law
which says that “anything that can happen, will happen”. We believe that
the possibilities of particular events can, will, and would happen for any
reason anytime, and anywhere without any restrictions from the concept
of destiny. Just like how the life of humans works, the results of their
actions are not based on what was already determined by fate, but
because of the fact that there is free will and that anything will occur
because it can occur. Taking everything into consideration, we believe
that destiny is only an option for people to believe in. It is not a fixed law of
the universe that sets rules to the very existence of life, but perhaps a
guiding principle for our faith to direct itself towards what we call destiny.
B. Prophecy
 Prophecies are said to be perceivable visions that would happen in the
future. They are pieces of information that exist within the present, to
anticipate the future. We personally believe that prophecies are entirely
speculations of what could happen in the future. One event could happen
or not and with this kind of uncertainty, we cannot surrender our lives to
such doubt. A prophecy itself conflicts with the rules of law if ever, proven
true. If one were to see a prophetic vision of what would happen to them
in the future, the chance of taking a preventive measure is possible to
counter that event, and with that, the fate of that being would change
which would result, again to another set of new events in the future.
However, it is another story if the event perceived would not happen. This
leads us to the conclusion that a prophecy is merely an assumption of
what could happen. It could be entirely true, or it could be a bluff, and
each and every one of us has the right to believe or deny its existence
C. Fortune Telling
 Fortune telling is an ability to tell what would happen in the future. Just like
prophecy, fortune telling helps you look into the future. However, fortune
telling is more on reading the fate of someone’s destiny. There are
different ways on how to perform such ability; it can either be through
cards, palm reading, and other tools such as spheres, etc. We believe that
fortune telling is merely a hint that is not accurate (more or so) that could
guide someone’s life in order to achieve it. Whether it is a fantasy or not,
fortune telling serves as an entertainment to some, while it may also serve
as a true, and authentic way of perceiving our life.
2. Give a situation/s where you know somebody who believes in the concept
of destiny or fate, prophecy, or fortune telling.

A. Destiny
 When I was young, I didn’t know who my real parents were, not until I
knew after some events that have happened. My foster parents told me as
early as 7, and I contemplated so much about my identity. As I grew older,
it didn’t matter to me anymore. I am very happy and grateful to live a life
with these people who considered themselves my parent. At the age of
15, my father suffered from a very severe condition. He was hospitalized
for 3 years. During those times, I was clueless about what to do. It was
also that time that my mom never went outside of her room, and I was left
alone all by myself. I had to stop from studying because I have to look
after my father time to time. While I was always at the hospital, I was very
grateful to have my father’s doctors to look after me sometime. The
hospital where my father was confined was also the same hospital where I
was given birth. Dr. Marvin, my father’s doctor, told me once why he
chose to work in this hospital in particular. It was also the same place
where his firstborn was born. Unfortunately, his son went missing, after a
fire accident occurred and both he nor his wife were not present to save
him. He heard rumors that one of the nurses got him, and he also heard
that the child died from the fire. It was a tragic story. He told me that,
working here in this hospital reminds him at least of the time he became a
father once. After hearing his story, I couldn’t feel bluer than ever.
Eventually, my father died, and it was the saddest day of my life. I was
there watching him battle his life. I couldn’t think of anything but to cry and
wish for my father to still live. Dr. Sarah, the wife of Dr. Marvin, was
holding me tightly while the doctors did everything they could to save my
father. After some time, the things that I heard next from them crippled the
veins of my heart. He’s gone. But before he died, he left a letter for me to
read. In the letter, it says “Dear Marcky, I know it has always been your
wish to find out who are your true parents. I am very sorry for hiding it until
the day has come, now that I am gone. You were just a baby, here in the
same hospital where I am right now until a fire broke out. I was one of the
nurses that survived the incident and saved you. Your mother became so
fond of you; at last, a baby of our own, since we couldn’t have any. I know
it was wrong and selfish on our part to keep you away from your real
parents, but I am asking for your forgiveness. Now, that I am gone, and I
have told you everything, I hope your questions are already answered. I
love you, always, sweetheart!”. After reading that letter, all that was left on
my face were tears running down my cheeks. I went to look for Dr. Marvin
and Sarah; I hugged them so tightly as if they already knew. Today, I still
couldn’t believe the fate I was given. But one thing is for sure, it was
destiny that led me to this kind of life I have right now, happily, with my
real parents.
B. Prophecy
 Jay Costura is one of the most baffling person known for seeing
prophecies. One time, she saw visions about the Taal volcano. The
clouds would turn dark, the sun will never be seen, and it will rain ashes
that would bury the land. On March 26, 2022, the said volcano errupted. It
caused great devastation in many places of the country. Jay Costura’s
vision was right. She was also able to anticipate many events that
occurred in the present such as the election, catastrophic events around
the world, and even crime incidents. It was through her vision thay helped
her predict these events.
C. Fortune telling
 Fortune telling has always been famous here in the Philippines and one
place where many famous fortune tellers can be found is Quiapo. My aunt
lyssa had one story of this true-to-life event with her encounter with this
particular fortune teller. At the age of 16, when she was in college, she
went to try and seek her fate with a woman named Melda, a fortune teller
from the province of South Cotabato. Lyssa always believe that fortune
telling is merely entertainment, and the first time Melda looked into her
fate, she denied it. Years passed and the first vision that was told by
Melda came true. Going back to the time she got read by Melda, she told
my aunt that she’ll marry someone in white with blue eyes, and it did
happen. Now, she’s happily married to his husband from he met in LA.
Time passed by and she kept in touch with Melda. Some of her fortune
tellings came true, while some didn’t. You see, fortune-telling is not
entirely the truth. Perhaps it could be, but it will not always be the window
to see the futur
