Music, dance and art are the guiding lights of the world. — Pablo Picasso
Dear Parents,

The Young at Art- Children’s Art Festival was initiated in 2009 with a view to encouraging
children to appreciate and celebrate the unique transformational power of the Arts.
Planned after two long years of unprecedented upheaval and isolating lockdowns, our annual
YAA festival will showcase the art work and sculptures of the children in a specially curated Art
Exhibition. Along with the opportunity to view the children’s work, you are also invited to attend
a two-day series of workshops, lecture-demonstrations and performances by eminent artiste
atithis.
The Young at Art festival is scheduled on Thursday, 16th and Friday, 17th March 2023 and we
are happy to share that atithis from diverse fields of the performing and visual arts are
participating in this festival. The programme schedule is attached along with the circular.
We also request you to make a note of the following points:
Thursday, 16th and Friday, 17th March 2023
Parents are requested to
 keep time aside to view the Art Exhibition and view the work done by our children
throughout the year.
 view the club presentations that will be made by the students of classes VI to XII.
 participate in the class-specific and general sessions as detailed in the programme
schedule.
 take note that :
o buses will not be plying on these dates
o children will need to come dressed in their school uniform

To enable you to enjoy the entire festival, we have organized stalls that will be selling a wide
variety of food items. There will also be publishers displaying a range of books for children
across different age-groups.
We look forward to a wonderful sharing of experiences through a symphony of swara, song,
steps and strokes.
Warm regards,
Nirmal Chhaya Team
