FINANCIAL INFORMATION
Participation fees
All Participants
The international airfare and related travel expenses, as well as accommodation/participation fees of all participants shall be borne by the teams
themselves. The above fees include meals, accommodation, event participation, shuttle bus (bettween the hotel and competition venue) and pick-
up/drop-off to and from the airport. The participating teams shall pay their participation fees in full to the organizing committee by international wire
transfer with the submission of their final entries. The accommodation/participation fees are as follows:
● US$ 85 per person per day (double room) – 3 Star Hotel l US$ 115 per person per day (double room) – 4 Star Hotel
● US$ 125 per person per day (single room) – 3 Star Hotel l US$ 155 per person per day (single room) – 4 Star Hotel

Clarification
● It is important to note that each national/regional federation will be fully responsible for
the total costs stated on their team’s final registration irrespective of whether or not all
the registered participants actually arrive and participate in the championships.
● The Organizing Committee will arrange the accommodation and transportation for
participating teams from 06:00 Dec 2nd, 2022 to 24:00 Dec 11th, 2022 (Jakarta Time). If
any team is arriving earlier or departing later than the required date, they should inform
the Organizing Committee to arrange their accommodation arrangements before Nov
2nd, 2022. Participants arriving early or departing late may be subject to additional costs
related thereto which shall be borne by the participants themselves.
● The IWUF and Organizing Committee require that all participating teams lodge must be
at the designated hotels arranged by the Organizing Committee.
FINANCIAL INFORMATION
Payment Methods
● Participating teams are required to pay the relevant participation fees by international wire
transfer with their final entry submission.
● Following the submission of a final entry, the organizing committee will contact each team
and provide them with their invoice, which will state totals and bank/payment details.
● Teams are then required to transfer the full amount as stated on the invoice. All international
wire transfer and bank fees are to be paid by the teams transferring the funds themselves.
● Proof of full payment should be sent to the organizing committee by email and brought along
to Indonesia by the team leader. The organizing committee requires that all participation fees
are to be paid in advance in order to secure accommodation as required by the official hotels.
All 8th WJWC participants must hold a valid passport and should allow
that all participants’ passports are valid for at least three months following
their final day of travel. Teams that require visa invitation letters should state

conducted in accordance with the IWUF Wushu Taolu Competition Rules &
Judging Methods (Excerpt) 2019, the IWUF Wushu Taolu Competition Rules &
Judging Methods (Excerpt) 2019 Additional Rules (Trial) and the IWUF Wushu
Sanda Competition Rules & Judging Methods (2017) (hereafter referred to as the
“rules”).
The Rules and Methods may be interpreted solely at the discretion the IWUF. In
case of any disagreement in the interpretation of the rules, the Chinese version
shall prevail.

Taolu

Sanda
• In general, the single knockout system will be adopted during the Sanda
• Kicks to the head as well as successive/continuous punches to the head are not
permitted.
Taolu
l Costumes worn and equipment used by each competitor must comply with the rules and the
relevant stipulations of the IWUF during all events. These must be provided by the competitors
themselves.
l All Taolu competitors must fix their competition bibs on the middle of the back of their costumes
before entering the competition arena.
l The competition bibs (20cm*15cm) will be provided by the Organizing Committee upon
accreditation.
Sanda
l Each competitor is required to prepare their own competition costumes: one (1) set
in red and one (1) set in blue.
l Each competitor is required to prepare their own mouth guard, jockstrap, and
instep guard (one (1) pare in red and one (1) pare in blue).
TECHNICAL OFFICIALS
l All judges serving at the 8th WJWC must hold their valid certificates
l Each team may appoint one (1) Taolu judge and one (1) Sanda
judge.
Taolu
Awarding methods:
l 1st - 8th place: If the number of competitors is ten (10) and above in a single event.
l 1st - 3rd place: If the number of competitors is between six (6) & nine (9) in a single event.
l 1st - 2nd place: If the number of competitors is between three (3) & five (5) in a single event.
l No placing or awards will be bestowed if the number of competitors in a single event comprises of two (2) or less competitors.

DOPING CONTROL
Doping control will be conducted during the 8th WJWC according to the
requirements of the IOC and World Anti-Doping Agency, and will follow the
procedure prescribed in the latest IWUF Anti-Doping Rules and WADA Rules.

SUPERVISORY COMMISSION
The 8th WJWC Supervisory Commission shall be established by the IWUF, with the right to resolve any disputes or investigate any issues that arise during the
course of the 8th WJWC to ensure the smooth execution of the event.
The Supervisory Commission for an IWUF World Junior Championships consists of three to five (3-5) members appointed by the President of the IWUF and is
responsible for overseeing Championships management and dispute mediation for the entire duration of the Championships and not beyond. Specific
descriptions of responsibilities include:
l The Commission will ensure that Championships adhere to principles of fair play, impartiality, and transparency.
l The Commission represents the IWUF in handling disputes regarding the Championships that arise between National Federations (NFs) and/or teams
and/or the LOC, and has the right to resolve such disputes. However, the Commission does not interfere with the competition proceedings or disputes arise
within the competition, which are responsibility of Jury of Appeal and relevant judging panel.
l The Commission represents the IWUF in coordinating between NFs and/or teams and/or the LOC.
l The Commission shall report any irregularities or violations observed during the Championships to the IWUF President and the IWUF Executive Board.
l The Commission shall monitor and demand that NFs take responsibility for their athletes’ general attitude and comportment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Membership
PARTICIPATION METHONDS
Each member federation is limited to enter one (1) team. Each team should be composed of Taolu team and Sanda team.
Taolu
Each taolu team shall be composed of a maximum of twenty (20) members including: one (1) team leader, two (2) coaches, one (1) doctor and
four (4) observers and the following twelve (12) competitors:
l Group A: A maximum of two (2) boys and two (2) girls who were born in 2004, 2005, 2006 or 2007.
l Group B: A maximum of two (2) boys and two (2) girls who were born in 2008, 2009 or 2010.
l Group C: A maximum of two (2) boys and two (2) girls who were born in 2011, 1012, 2013 or 2014.
All Taolu athletes are required to enter the Taolu competition events as follows:
l Each athlete of Group A may at most enter four (4) competition events (one (1) bare-handed routine, one (1) short weapon routine, one (1)
long weapon routine and one (1) dual event).
l Each athlete of Group B may at most enter three (3) competition events (one (1) bare-handed routine, one (1) short weapon routine, and one
(1) long weapon routine).
l Each athlete of Group C may at most enter two (2) competition events(one (1) bare-handed routine, one (1) weapon routine: either one (1)

Sanda
Each Sanda team shall be composed of a maximum nineteen (19) members including: one (1) team leader, two (2) coaches, one (1) doctor, four
(4) observers and the following eleven (11) competitors:
l Junior Group:A maximum of five (5) boys and three (3) girls who were born in 2005, 2006 or 2007.
l Children’s Group:A maximum of three (3) boys who were born in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
All Sanda athletes are required to enter the Sanda competition events as follows:
l Each team may at most enter one (1) athlete per weight category.
ENTRIES
Preliminary Entries
The Preliminary Entry Forms must state the exact number of competitors
taking part in the events and must reach the Local Organizing Committee
and the IWUF Secretariat by email respectively no later than 24:00 (Jakarta
Time) on September 2nd, 2022.
ENTRIES
Final Entry
l All final entries must be submitted through the IWUF Online Registration System.
The deadline is 24:00 (Jakarta Time) on November 2nd, 2022.
l Each team is required to print a copy of the submitted entry and present it during
accreditation upon arrival in Tangerang.

ENTRIES
Late Entry and change policy
After the final entry deadline, any information change (including late entry) will be
handled as follows:
l Late entries are subject to the approval of the IWUF and, if accepted, are subject
approval of the IWUF and, if accepted, are subject to a change fee of US$ 100.
l The above fees must be paid in cash to the IWUF Secretariat before the technical
meeting.
Arrival
All Teams and judges are required to register with the 8th WJWC Organizing
Committee at the designated Accreditation Center no later than 24:00 (Jakarta
Time) on December 2nd, 2022.

Accreditation Process
Upon arrival at the Accreditation Center, the Team
leader is required to complete the following process
with the Organizing Committee:
TECHNICAL MEETING
l The Technical Meeting will be held on December 4th, 2022. Each team should
send two (2) Taolu and two (2) Sanda representatives to attend the meeting.
DRAWING - LOTS
l Each team may send two (2) Taolu and two (2) Sanda representatives to attend the activity.
l The chairman of Jury of Appeal will draw on behalf of the teams that are unable to send a
representative to attend.
WEIGHING - IN
l The weighing-in for all Sanda athletes will take place at 7:00 on December
4th, 2022.
VICTORY CEREMONY
l The Victory Ceremony of Taolu will take place in each Taolu competition unit.
l The Victory Ceremony of Sanda will take place in the last Sanda competition unit.
l Ten minutes before the Victory Ceremony starts, the medalists will be escorted by
staff to the Waiting Area to get ready for the ceremony. Medalists must wear their
team official uniforms.
l The medalists are required to attend the Victory Ceremony. In case a medalist is
unable to attend the ceremony for a valid reason, his/her medal and certificate may
be presented to an official of the relevant delegation. Absence without a valid
reason will forfeit the right to receive a medal. The medalists are not allowed to take
any religious symbols to or onto the podium.
l If fewer than three (3) medalists in a single event, no Victory Ceremony will be held
for that event. The team leader will go to the designated place to receive medal and
certificate.
