Ecological Situation in my Hometown

Think about the ecological situation in your hometown or city. Write
a short description mentioning if there is a type of pollution, the
causes or consequences and an activity (activities) people usually do
to stop it or contribute to continue contaminating. (50 words)

In my hometown Tantoyuca,Veracruz state, Mexico the ecological situation is

regular. It has contamination in the soil and streams, lakes. Also, people throw
garbage on the street. People waste water, cut-down trees, use fertlizers and kill
animals, but there is clean air and mind. People reuse pantry jars to make
flowerpots and change the normal light bulbs in their homes for energy-saving
bulbs.
