ILLUSTRATOR SYMBOLS

1 Go to WINDOW in the top menu and select SYMBOLS

from the list to bring up the panel. 2 Click on the 4 lines icon (top right) to open the dropdown
menu. Hover over Open Symbol Library option and it will
open another dropdown. Navigate to OTHER LIBRARY
and select the Illustrator file from the download folder.

3 The Grid Builder Shapes will appear in their own panel

ready to use. Drag and drop your chosen shape onto the 4 If you would like to change the colour of the Shape, right
click on the symbol and select Break Link to Symbol from
artboard. the dropdown. You’ll then be able to change the colour
of it.

Illustrator CS6 users

Please use the relevant file and double click to open or go FILE » OPEN.
The Grid Shapes should appear in the Symbols panel (VIEW » SYMBOLS).
