Activity: Describe your family.

My family

Analysis:
1. Why family is important?

Families can be an integral part of our psychosocial well-being. When the family is
functioning properly, it provides a supportive place in which we can grow emotionally,
mentally, and physically. With family members present to offer support and caretaking
responsibilities at all times, the individual is free to focus on school work or hobbies or
whatever else they might be doing. This can make families an important part of the
psychosocial development of individuals from a young age through adulthood.

2. Are you happy with the family you have?

My family is the driving forces to made me move forward, even though the life in college
is not easy but when you see your family, you can a strength. When you are down, your
family make you get up by supporting and always cheering you. Family is life, together
we could conquer anything. You should never change your family because they are
unique in their own right.

Exercise2. Identify and explain some of the characteristics of your family. What are some
changes in the family that are brought about by modernity?

Exercise 3. (Laboratory Activity1 Video recorded interview but please observe health
protocol) Interview a grandparent, great-grandparent, or another older person you would like to
get to know better. Talk about family life in the old days- both positive and negative aspects.
