1) Go to website: www.ustraveldocs.com
2) Choose Europe and Latvijā (Latvia)
3) You may have a question “Is this your first time applying
for a visa and/or visiting our site?” Press NO
4) On the red field press “Login” (DON’T CHANGE THE
LANGUAGE OF THE SITE, IT SHOULD BE ENGLISH)

5) Press “New user”

6) ADD INFO: your e-mail, name, surname and SAVE a
password

7) Press “NewApplication / Schedule Appointment”

8) Step 1 – choose nonimmigrant visa

9) Select visa category “Business, Tourism, and All

Others”, Visa class “Crew” and select “C1/D – Crew
member in transit”
10) Generate your profile, where you have to insert your
“DS 160 Confirmation”. After completing press Continue.
11) Next day after the Online Payment you will receive
email that your receipt number has been activated and you
can login back to your profile to continue.
12)After all questions you will get till the interview
timetable or interview waiver confirmation letter (for All
applicants who are renewing previously issued
nonimmigrant visas of the same classification that expired
less than 12 months ago)
 !!!!ALL applicants should prepare the below listed documents:!!!!
• Valid passport
• Prior passport containing the unexpired visa or visa that expired less than 12
months ago (if applicable)
• Confirmation page on Visa Application Form DS-160 completion
• One printed, high-quality photo (5x5)
• Printed copy of your visa application fee payment receipt. Note: Applicants
who are simultaneously renewing their C1/D and B1/B2 visas should pay
only one application fee
• Printed copy of your Latvian residence permit (if you are not a Latvian passport
holder)
• Interview waiver confirmation letter or appointment confirmation.
• A copy of your current work contract OR employment confirmation letter from
your employer/crewing agency (Letter of Guarantee)
• Your current Sea book.

ALL visa applicants are required to use only SIA Velokurjers services for sending
and receiving their documents to/from the Embassy. These services are registered
and each delivery is assigned with a unique tracking number. At this time, the U.S.
Embassy in Riga does not partner with other businesses providing document
delivery services for U.S. visa applicants.
You should contact SIA Velokurjers by e-mail at velokurjers@velokurjers.lv or tel.
+371 200 00041 to arrange document delivery to the Embassy and your visa
delivery to you (OR just visa delivery to you if you are scheduling a visa interview
appointment at the Embassy and will submit your documents in person on your
interview day. You MUST bring this envelope with you for your visa interview and
submit it to the Consular Section along with your passport and visa application
documents). The subject line of your e-mail should be - U.S. visa application
delivery request.

SIA Velokurjers will provide guidance on payment options for the delivery services
and send you an e-mail with two address labels. Print these labels and glue them on
two different envelopes. The first envelope, with the Embassy address, should be
used to transport the visa documents including the return envelope to the
Embassy. We will use the second, enclosed, envelope to return your documents to
you.

Please note!
• ALL visa applicants are required to use only SIA Velokurjers services for
sending and receiving their documents to/from the Embassy.
• Each application/individual MUST have a separate address label. The courier's
security and safety rules require separate tracking of each passport.
• Groups of applicants and family members may NOT use one envelope, address
label, or tracking number for all their application documents.

You should use the address labels that SIA Velokurjers will provide. SIA
Velokurjers will contact you to arrange document collection from your address.

After the application has been adjudicated, SIA Velokurjers will return your
documents to you using the return envelope. It normally takes several business days
to process a visa application. Return delivery takes another 2-4 business days
depending on your address. In some rare cases the Embassy may require an in-
person interview. In these cases, the Embassy will contact you to help schedule your
interview.

Note: If your visa is denied and you had arranged pre-payment for visa delivery, you
may request a refund of the delivery fee by contacting SIA Velokurjers
at velokurjers@velokurjers.lv, tel. +371 200 00041 or via velokurjers.lv.
