Conclusion:

Hence, phonetic symbols are use to transliterate words to read or pronounce words

correctly. Phonetic symbols are very important because without it probably people can

not pronounce words with their correct or proper pronunciation. And phonetic symbols

help people to spell correctly the words through reading and pronouncing the proper

way of the certain symbols with their corresponding english alphabet letters. For

example, if I say spell the word “HAT” I will pronounce it as /hæt/ but technically

spelled as simply as HAT. The transcribe word is just a help for the people to read and

pronounce words properly and spell the certain word correctly.. [ Jr, tarunga jud pag

and A diphthong is a sound made by combining two vowels, specifically when it starts

as one vowel sound and goes to another, like the oy sound in oil. It is just simply mean

that the diphthongs are two vowel sounds joined in one syllable to form one speech

sound. Like the example given which is oil. The word oil has one syllable but two vowel

sounds which are the “o” and “i” and they are joined together to form one speech

sound like ‘oy’.
