TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR PROMOTION SPACE l 1 UTAMA SHOPPING CENTRE

ITEM GUIDELINE

SIGNAGE / Signage and Marketing Collaterals


MARKETING ▪ The name of the Organiser or its trading name must always be displayed and maintain a
COLLATERALS suitable sign of a size and kind first approved in writing by The Management.
▪ All signage must be professionally printed, no hand-written signs are allowed.
▪ Message content and visuals in all collaterals must be submitted for The Management’s prior
approval.
▪ Recommended materials for signage are light box, plywood and acrylic.

Point of Sale (P.O.S)


▪ All P.O.S must be professionally printed and no hand-written allowed.
▪ Sales/ Discount/ Offer Tags cannot be placed or displayed at the promotion space unless prior
written approval from The Management.
▪ Maximum number of P.O.S. permitted at the promotion space is as follows: -
i) Promotion Space size ≤ 6,000 sfq – maximum of 10 units
ii) Promotion Space size ≤ 4,000 sfq – maximum of 8 units
iii) Promotion Space size ≤ 1,000 sfq – maximum of 6 units
iv) Promotion Space size ≤ 400 sfq – maximum of 4 units
v) Promotion Space size ≤ 200 sfq – maximum of 2 units

STRUCTURES / ▪ The Management reserves the right to determine the maximum width and height of each
FIXTURES / FLOOR structures and fixtures depending on the position of the structures, overall concept and
COVERING presentation of the event.
▪ Each sides of structure, fixture, backdrop and storeroom must not be left bare and must be
treated with branding of the event.
▪ High quality material and finishes are highly encouraged (solid timber, plywood, colour back
glass and natural stone)
▪ No needle punch carpet is allowed.

BROADCASTING / ▪ The Organiser shall not erect or place within or without the promotion space any radio or
SOUND SYSTEM / television aeriel or antenna or any loudspeakers, screens or similar devices or equipment
LIGHTING except with the prior written consent of The Management.
▪ Broadcasting / Sound System is only allowed at concourses at LG Oval, GF Centre Court and
GF Highstreet with Management’s approval.
▪ No broadcasting / sound system is allowed at any areas not listed will be subject to approval
of Management.
▪ Sound volume (with / without announcer) permitted at the promotion space is as follows:-
i) LG Oval & GF Centre Court – below 80db
ii) GF Highstreet – below 70db
▪ No glaring, animated, strobing and flashing components are allowed.

SALES PERSONNEL / ▪ Must be decently attired and not permitted to have packed lunch/dinner at the promotion
PROMOTERS space
▪ Maximum number of promoters / staff permitted at the promotion space is as follows:-
i) Promotion Space size ≤ 6,000 sfq – maximum of 10 pax
ii) Promotion Space size ≤ 4,000 sfq – maximum of 8 pax
iii) Promotion Space size ≤ 1,000 sfq – maximum of 6 pax
iv) Promotion Space size ≤ 400 sfq – maximum of 2 pax
▪ However, approval for more manpower will be accorded depending on nature of promotion
