Never use damaged electrical equipment.
Do not use personal electrical equipment and appliances such as tea or coffee makers, extension cords, heaters, chargers, perfume diffusers, and bukhoor burners inside QatarEnergy buildings. Avoid overloading to minimize overheating. Don't plug multi-outlet bars to other multi-outlet bars. Do not ignore the warning signs. If an item feels hot, makes an unusual noise (buzz or hum), smokes or sparks, take it out of service immediately. If you notice any defects in cords and electrical equipment, report it immediately. Use only electrical equipment that has been inspected by a competent person. Repairs and alterations of electrical equipment shall only be done by a competent person. Know your environment , never operate in wet condition. Switch off equipment and power sockets before removing the plug from the power source. When working on electrical installations, follow permit to work, isolation and LOTO (Lock-out/Tag-out) procedures. Do not touch a person or electrical apparatus involved in an electrical incident.
