JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: HSE OFFICER

Reporting To: Project / Service Engineer & HSEQ

Responsibility and Authority:


HSE Officer is responsible for Office / site HSE requirements monitoring &
implementation.
Duties:
HSE Officer main duties are summarized as below:

 HSE Officer shall monitor and ensure Health, Safety and Environmental
requirements are implemented at all site activities.

 HSE Officer coordinates with Client safety department for any safety related
requirements at site.

 HSE Officer coordinates with all various departments for HSE works related to
critical activities.

 HSE Officer ensures that daily toolbox meetings are conducted by Site
foremen/Supervisor. HSE Officer arranges safety induction training for the site
personnel as required.

 HSE Officer shall highlight all activities that need critical safety attention and ensure
that Job Hazard Analysis is done, and precautions taken before commencing any
activity.

 HSE Officer shall highlight potential hazards involved in any activity to respective
discipline engineers/supervisors to ensure adequate care is taken.

 HSE Officer shall responsible to raise Non-Conformance report and ensure that
correction, corrective action and / or preventive action is taken.

 HSE Officer shall ensure that all site personnel are using proper PPE.

 HSE Officer shall carry out workplace inspection every month to ensure workplace is
safe, necessary accident prevention safeguards and controls are in place,
emergency equipment’s are in good condition.

 HSE Officer shall prepare and report all incidents and accidents to Top management
and Client if required.

 HSE Officer shall make HSE monthly report for the site and conduct the HSE review
meeting regularly.

 Safety officer has the authority to prevent any ongoing operations that is unsafe.

1. Complaints / Non-conformities shall be recorded in the Customer complaint register


2. Notification of HSE observations / Near miss / Incident investigation reports.
3. Ensuring Tool box talk was conducted before any activity
4. Responsible for timely delivery of the service to achieve company objective
5. Ensure readiness during emergency.
6. Monthly inspection of Tools & tackles, PPE, Fire extinguishers, First Aid Box, etc.

Minimum Education, Experience and Skills


Minimum Education: Any Degree, NEBOSH
Minimum Experience: 5 years
Skill:

 Timely execution of assignments by ensuring the responsibilities and capabilities of


the team.

 Problem Solving, Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills

 Self-initiative with "Can do" Attitude

 Sound technical knowledge

 Ability to work well in a Team

 Leadership & Communication Skills
