and with the argument at the top which is the nearest value of the difference between the times for the tabular latitude and the next higher one; the ‘correction so obtained is applied to the time for the tabular latitude; the sign of the correction can be seen by inspection, It isto be noted that the interpolation is not linear, so that when using this table it is essential to take out the tabular phenomenon for the latitude less than the true latitude, TABLE II_FOR LONGITUDE Diaces betwen te tines en de and prding date (ret onde one Trier goon dew allowing dat far wet ocgedsy ne 1020" 30° | 10% 20 30] 40 so™ 210 | 2820 | 2430" | 240" | 2hso™ | stoo™ a|3? It is entered with longitude and with the difference between the times for the given date and for the preceding date (in east longitudes) or following date (in west longitudes). The correction is ‘normally added for west longitudes and subrracted for east longitudes, but if, a8 occasionally happens, the times become earlier each day instead of later, the signs of the corrections must be reverse. ‘©Copyrigh United Kingdom Hydrographic Office 2009 12" INCREMENTS AND CORRECTIONS 13" ‘anues | woon |] & com] & con] & cor 4 a un pavers) ARIES i x3] ize 25 hin 35, Saso | dass 3483 | 3188 3ie0 | 3165 3163 | 3168 316s | 3190 i78 | 303 F 83 | 3188 3193 | 3198 3195 | 3200 3200 | 9205 3303 | 300 220 |3 he 2 2 2 BUNES $8988 28828.
