Call for Experts – Poultry Farming Experts and Maize Experts

Landell Mills UK is seeking experienced and dynamic Poultry Farming Experts and Maize Experts
to support the delivery of a 3-year capacity-building project to support smallholder poultry and
maize farmers in Cambodia.

About the roles

Poultry Farming Expert (International)

We are looking for an international poultry farming expert to lead the design and delivery of a
combination of classroom-based and hands-on (including on-farm) training modules to smallholder
poultry farmers. Training will focus on good agricultural practices, climate-smart farm management,
supply chain understanding, and farm budget management. The work will be intermittent and
involve conducting a training needs assessment, developing a training strategy and modular
training content, and conducting training of trainers.

Maize Expert (International)

We are looking for a maize expert/agronomist to lead the design and delivery of a combination of
classroom-based and hands-on (including on-farm) training modules to smallholder maize farmers.
Training will focus on good agricultural practices, climate-smart farm management, supply chain
understanding, and farm budget management. The work will be intermittent and involve conducting
a training needs assessment, developing a training strategy and modular content, and conducting
training of trainers.

Poultry Farming Expert (National)

We are looking for a national poultry farming expert to support the delivery of the above-mentioned
training modules to smallholder poultry farmers. The national poultry farming expert will work full-
time and support the international expert through the collection of data, distribution of inputs, and
organisation and training of poultry farmers.

Maize Expert (National)

We are looking for a national maize expert to support the delivery of the above-mentioned training
modules to smallholder maize farmers. The national maize expert will work full-time and support
the international expert through the collection of data, distribution of inputs, and the organisation
and training of maize farmers.
