Identify the candidate Mentor (Master or Chief Engineer rank employed in Thome either at office or ship)
Cadet Program Manager to discuss and confirm selected Mentor commitment
Referral / Mentor letter accepted and signed
o Accepted and signed Mentor letters are to be scanned (PDF) and filed
Referrer can also be the Mentor in case he / she holds a Master or Chief Engineer rank
PI TEST
o Test link provided, acceptance result for Behavioral (8 points) and Cognitive (21 points)
o Result to be shared to Candidate and Mentor/Referrer
o Once PI test passed, candidate to be scheduled for CES test
CES Test
o Computer based exam provided via recruitment office
o Passing grade of 75%
o Once CES test passed, candidate to be scheduled for ORAL / INTERVIEW
ORAL / INTERVIEW
o To be conducted by Cadet Program Manager or Deputized Senior Officer Office Staff
o Interview to be based on TSM Form 070D
o Can also include written assessment provided by the interviewer
o Acceptance to be based upon interviewer assessment and result of written assessment if any
o Result to be shared to Candidate and Mentor/Referrer
All screening process will be for 1 time attempt only. Failure to any process means rejection of application.
