Catbalogan City has higher labor force population rate compared to Samar province and more male
rate is higher in the youth sector than in old; hence the City Government make ways to maintain, m
and consistently increase the labor force population of the City by creating more job generating pro
demand of labor population each year. Among the proposed interventions are the establishment o
entrepreneurial trainings to livelihood project beneficiaries with more emphasis to the women sec
males.
Currently, the City is renting venues for the conduct of capacity/skills trainings that supports emplo
regular programs of several offices implementing social and economic services. It is hightime to es
resources and at the same time the training center will also serve as production center for women
