CITATION TO ACCEPT OR REFUSE PROBATE

WHEREAS it appears by the affidavit of CHANGA CHILANDO sworn the 12th

day of January 2022 that CHIBWE CHILANDO of Plot 123 in the City and
Province of Lusaka died on the 20 th day of October 2021 at Fairview Hospital
having made and duly executed his last Will and Testament dated the 6 th day of
March 2008 (now remaining in the Principal Probate Registry) and thereof
appointed you, the said MOSES PHIRI executor AND WHEREAS it further
appears by the said affidavit that the said deceased died leaving issue and that
the said CHANGA CHILANDO is the daughter and legatee to the deceased and
entitled to share in the estate of the said deceased.
Now this is to command you the said, MOSES PHIRI that within eight days
after service hereof of you, inclusive of the day of such service, you do cause an
appearance to be entered for you in the Principal Probate Registry of the High
Court in Lusaka and accept or refuse probate of the said Will or show cause
why Letters of Administration with the said Will annexed of all the estate which
by law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said deceased
should not be granted to the said CHANGA CHILANDO. And take notice that,
in default of your so appearing and accepting and extracting probate of the said
Will the said Court will proceed to grant letters of administration with the said
Will annexed, of the said estate to the said CHANGA CHILANDO, your absence
notwithstanding.
