GPT Chatbots are becoming increasingly popular, and they can now be found in almost every industry,

from e-commerce to travel. The increased use of late could be attributed to better language processing
or more easily accessible development tools for non-developers. It is also possible that many chatbots
are made available through mainstream messaging apps, avoiding the need for the user to download yet
another app and allowing them to continue using an app with which they are already familiar.

But what exactly is a GPT chatbot?

Is a computer program that simulates a conversation with its users, typically over the Internet.
Furthermore, the analogy that a chatbot frequently treats a conversation like a game of tennis can be
used to describe a chatbot's conversation flow, i.e. get message, reply, get message, reply, and so on
provides nearly the same definition, but adds the word 'intelligent' before communication, specifying
the need for intelligent replies rather than just random ones.

Chatbots were initially designed to be entertaining and to mimic human conversation. This is still
a popular reason for developing chatbots, but as the technology's popularity has grown, so have the
various applications. The chatbot technology has since been used for a variety of purposes, including
retrieving information, answering questions, assisting with fact-based decision-making, serving as a
shopping assistant, museum guide, language partner, or in education, among others. As previously
stated, a chatbot can be used as an information retrieval tool to answer questions. Users can ask
questions about a specific topic. This type of chatbot has numerous applications, ranging from
interactive FAQ to assisting a customer in making a decision.

GPT AI systems are becoming increasingly popular in a variety of settings and have the potential
to save time and money. However, many users continue to have unsatisfactory interactions with
chatbots (e.g., high failure rates), which may lead to skepticism and resistance to the technology,
potentially preventing users from complying with recommendations and requests made by the chatbot.
GPT chatbot systems may improve user compliance by capitalizing on anthropomorphism and the need
to maintain consistency in the context of electronic markets and customer service. As a result, this
article expands on prior knowledge of GPT AI chatbots as anthropomorphic information agents in
customer service. I hope it serves as a catalyst for compliance mechanisms and the advancement of AI-
based capabilities in and beyond electronic markets and customer self-service contexts.
