VIDEO ANALYSIS

Watch 1! Video Title: Camera Angles with Zach King by King Film School
Learnings: By watching this video, I learned about the different angles. Like arc shot, close
up and many more. I can also apply this angle in the future, if I have some motivation,
because I love making vid.

Watch 2! Video Title: Camera Movement - Storytelling with Cinematography by

DSLRguide
Learnings: I learned that with camera movement. Used to reveal information to the audience,
or to move closer to the subject, to provide clearer visual information. It typically used to
illustrate significant narrative details sparingly.

Watch 3! Video Title: Lighting with Zach King by King Film School
Learnings: I learned that lighting is essential on filming because the mood of the scene can be
determined and the film can evoke a more dramatic or subtle palette.

Watch 4! Video Title: Symbolisms in Films by Chris Constantine

Learnings: I learned that symbolic images help us understand abstract concepts that cannot
always be translated into words. Symbolism allows a writer to convey something to their
audience in a poetic way instead of saying it outright.

Watch 5! Video Title: Conventions and Iconography of an Action Film by Skyline

Productions
Learnings: I learned that iconography is the use of images and symbols to represent a subject,
movement or ideal. And conventions include themes, settings, characters, plots, narrative
structure, mood, props or significant objects.
