Health Teachings
 Explain to the client that She may experience symptoms that may last 2-4 days.
 Shoulder pain
 Scratchy or sore throat
 Swollen belly (bloated) and crampy
 Some discharge or bleeding from your vagina.
 Explain that she may be able to do most of her normal activities after 2-3 days. But should
avoid heavy lifting for 1- 2weeks.

 Teach Client hot to do self-care step procedures


 Keep your incision areas clean, dry, and covered
 Do not take bath, soak in a hot tub , or swimming until skin are healed.
 Avoid heavy exercise.
 You can have sexual intercourse as soon as you feel ready.
 You can go to work, and You may eat normal foods. If you feel sick stomach, try dry
crackers with tea.

Tell client to call the doctor as soon as :

 She may experience severe pain in the belly or pain in the belly is getting worse.
 Heavy bleeding in the vagina on the 1st day. And not lessen after 1st day.
 When temperature rises to 38C (fever) or (chills)
 Pain, shortness of breath (dyspnea),feeling faint.
 Nausea or vomiting.
