Construction

The air insulated metal clad compartments of the circuit breakers and busbars are of non-magnetic CRCA/
Alu-zinc material construction.

Operating Interface

Easy to operate

 Intuitive single line diagrams on the front door of each functional unit provide a clear description of the
cubicle components and power flows. This helps to optimize operations
 With the EasyPact EXE breaker, PIX RoF features direct access to an opening pushbutton on the front
door: this ensures better service continuity
 Voltage Presence Indicators (VPIS) are present on the front door of each functional unit: this can
instantly indicate voltage presence on a given cable!
 A floor rolling trolley provides quick and easy rack-in/rack-out operation for withdrawable devices

Busbar Connection

The air insulated busbar sections of copper/ aluminium make busbars are connected
through stud and bolts. Busbar joints are shrouded with soft PVC shrouds.

Vacuum Circuit Breaker

A circuit breaker is a safety device enabling the switching and protection of electrical
distribution networks. It protects all components connected to the downstream
network by opening the circuit during a fault.

The withdrawable EasyPact EXE vacuum circuit breaker is mounted on an

integrated floor rolling trolley enabling easy handling.

EasyPact EXE vacuum circuit breaker is trolley mounted and horizontally

withdrawable type. Each phase is segregated by insulated barriers.

Cable Termination

Cable terminals are readily accessible from the rear and located at a convenient
connection height. In standard depth of panel 2R x 3C x 630 sq. mm. or 2R x 1C x
630 sq. mm/ Phase cable termination is possible. For additional cable runs,
extension chamber of 350mm/ 500mm are be considered.

Instrument Transformers

CTs, if any, are placed on the line side of the circuit breaker and are mounted in cable chamber. VTs can be
mounted on switchgear top or VCB or separate Line VT Panel based on requirement. The transformer ratio,
the accuracy class and the performance load are selected to suit the application requirements.
