Dear Sir / Madam,

57th Colombo Scout Camporee – 2022

It is with a great pleasure we inform you that the 57th Colombo Scout Camporee is planned to be held from
2nd to 5th February – 2023, at Vihara Maha Devi Park – Colombo with the theme ‘LEADERS FOR A
BETTER TOMORROW’.

As the physical Camporee is going to be held after two years, we believe that all our Scouts, Cub Scouts,
Singithi Scouts and Scout leaders would be so excited to join with this event with a great passion. Hence,
we like to request you to make all initial arrangements to provide necessary information / necessities for
the organizing work, following the given instructions correctly.

1. The camporee registration fee for scouts is Rs. 1,000.00. We propose you to allocate this amount
out of the collections from Scout Job-Week, without giving a weight to parents in this difficult
time.
2. The completed list of Camporee participants needs to be submitted to the Colombo District Scout
Headquarters, on or before 18th January 2023, along with the registration fees. The format for the
list is shared with this letter.
3. As usual, there will be a day for Singithi Scouts and a day for Cub Scouts with activities.
Participants need to submit their lists with the registration fee of Rs. 750.00 per head, on or before
18th January 2023 to the Colombo District Scout Headquarters. The format for the list is shared
with this letter.
4. Scout leaders are advised to get and keep a permission letter from the parents of Camporee
Participants. You may refer the attached letter format for the same purpose.

Colombo Camporee is the main item in our district event calendar without any doubt, so we expect your
special attention, cooperation and active participation to make this event so special for all.
