Feminist and feminism

Feminism basically is the belief in full social, economic, and political equality for
women.it is largely arose in response to western traditions that restricted therights of women, but
now feminist has global manifestations and variations.

Variation in definition of feminism:

A defining feature of feminism is a high regard for women. Feminism is vast term,
everyone has its own definition about feminism. They explain feminism according to their own
percpective. Most of people feel hesitation to be called as feminist because in our society it has
more negative connotation than positive.it has many reason e.g.

1. some people perceive feminists as women who hate men. ( stereotype)

A survey was conducted between 10 male and 10 female. In which different three question
about feminism were asked from them.

Conclusion:

In our society feminist term has more negative meaning than positive one. I analyzed through
the point of view people that walks seminars and aurat march made people negative about
feminist. And other thing is that western agenda made people negative about feminist in our
society.

As results show that mostly men show unfavorable point of view towards feminist. Only 2 of 10
give answer that is in favor of feminist term. Most of men show negative point of view towards
feminist.

Women also show negative response towards to the feminist but its ratio is low than men as 4 of
10 give answer that is in favor of feminist.

In my point of view, we should give respect value both of man and woman because both are
most important part of society but having different responsibilities.
