Writing

Answer: One day, I came home from school to find my mother standing at our door. She said she had to
leave on an urgent errand that could not wait. She asked me whether I would be okay by myself for a
few hours. I was very excited at the idea of being home alone. I promised her I would be safe and not
open the door for anyone. After she left, I went and freshened up. I went to the dining table to find that
the had kept my food out on the table. I had my food and then sat down to watch TV. I felt very grown
up at being allowed to look after my self for the two hours she was away.
