Activity 4

1. Cite at least three experiences that were brought by about your feelings of anger, grief,
love, jealousy, guilt or fear.

- When I was little, I used to be jealous of my sister because I believed our mother showed
favoritism. At first, I was angry with our mother, especially when I was reprimanded for
how I treated my sister, but as I grew older, I learned that she doesn't show favoritism; she
simply pays more care to my sister due to her weak heart and body. I feel guilty about it,
especially because our mother was sad when she learned that I was thinking that way.

- Year 2018 when my cousin died, he is just 11 days old when he was taken away from us.
My family and I was so sad and griefing about it but we can't do anything. On the day that
we lost him I started to get feared about my family, I am afraid that one day they will leave
me too and I can't do anything about it.

- I'm always surrounded by affection. When I'm around my family, I always feel like they
care about me and love me, but there are times when they truly express it. It happened when
I was a child, and I developed a fever that was so high that it caused me to become
delusional. They sobbed and prayed so hard for me at that time. I'll never forget how
concerned they seemed at the moment.

2. How did you overcome these difficult experiences?

- When I'm experiencing a strong feeling, I usually go to a quiet spot to process it before
letting it go. To make myself feel better, I weep or listen to the music of my favorite band.
I'll apologize or explain my side when I've let go of my emotions and am able to think
clearly.

3. Do you agree that love, despite of being a positive emotion can also cause problems?
Describe an experience which can justify your answer.

- Yes, for me, since, as the song says, "too much love will kill you," love has the potential
to kill us both physically, emotionally, and mentally. Love is a nice thing because it makes
us happy and helps us care about each other, but it may also give us issues. Overabundant
love is the kind that can lead to troubles. Too much love may lead us to do things we don't
want to do, and it can also be the source of people's pain. Even though I have not personally
experienced these things, I have seen some individuals I know suffer because they love too
much to leave anything for themselves.
