The Dog and Its Shine

Ramos Corpuz, fifty-eight is a well-known C.E.O. of a barbie doll company, because of his
past life he is alone and single living in his big, quite and lifeless house. Ramos Corpuz or also
known on the nickname "Ting Ting" in his past life, used to live alone with his mother because
his biological father leave them when he is ten(10) to elope with his mistress. But things
suddenly change when his mother married his stepfather.

His stepfather is a rich and short tempered person, he always hit him even in the
smallest reason. When he is twelve(12), his step brother accidentally broke one of the vase but
put the blame on Ramos, so when the stepfather knew the accident, the stepfather punished
him by hitting him again and again and jailed him in the room without eating in entire day.
Ramos tried to ask help to his mother but the mother didn't do anything. And since that day his
relationship with his mother stained and unstable.

After his eighteenth(18) birthday, Ramos move out and gamble to his small business,
the barbie doll. After ten(10) years, the twenty-eight(28) years-old Ramos stayed stronger in
the industry and the business started to grow and grow and become one of the successful
company and reach the profits of millions. Years and years past Ramos doesn't have news or
update about his mother.

One day as he do his regular check-up, the doctor found out that Ramos have stage 3
cancer in stomach and its malignant type. The doctor gives him advise to try the chemotherapy
and gave advice to be more healthy. But Ramos knew he have a least chance to live, so he
asked help to his lawyer about his plans and needed to find someone who are deserving to
have all his assets and money.

Ramos decided to act as a homeless and poor as his company went to bankruptcy and
try to ask help to his stepbrother and half sister. First, he tried to ask helped to his brother and
he let him in, but days go by the stepbrother started to hit and yelled him for the useless and
baseless reason like Ramos tried to seduce his steps brother's wife or if Ramos walk in front of
him, but Ramos still stay in the house because his nieces and nephews are comforting him. But
one time, the step brother suddenly throw a hot coffee at him and that's made him decide to
leave the house and went to his half sister. Ramos went to his half sister, at first he tried to
introduce himself as her half-brother but the half sister didn't believe and shoo him away and
the worst part is that, the half sister, released the dogs and made them chased him. However
that didn't stop Ramos to test his half sister, so he went to his half sister's husband, the
husband convince that Ramos is her half brother and let him in.

At first, the sister disagree but suddenly change of mind, little did he know the couple
have plan to make him suffer, they made him slave to the house. Ramos do all the household
chores, cook, laundry, dishes and many more, also warn all maids to just rest, let him to the
chores and do not to helped him. One day Ramos forget to do laundry because his stomach
hurts in entire day. The half sister remind him to laundry her business attire because she will
use it tomorrow morning. And as the sister misinterpreted Ramos, that Ramos was being lazy
and just sleeping that's why he didn't to the laundry, the half sister went ballistic and throw him
out and his clothes.

Ramos wandered in the dark highway for almost 2 hours, thinking for who will be the
heir of his assets and money. He suddenly stop and massages his aching feet. And when he
looked to the right, he saw the abandoned park. He went there and sit on one of the bench and
minutes later he unintentionally fell asleep.

Ramos woke up that the sun shine brightly and someone is licking his face, as his vision
became clearer, he saw a dog, a small dog to be precise, licking him.

Choose 1: Keep the dog

Ramos stop the dog to lick him then ask questions like 'who is your owner', 'did your
house near', 'are you lost' or 'are you hungry' but the dog just keep staring at him and wagging
his tail, left to right. Ramos decided to wait whoever the owner is, so that he can return the
dog, however, hour later there is no one came and claim the dog. So he decided to keep and
hug the dog and start to walk the pavement to find food chain or maybe carenderya, also to
look if someone knew the dog's owner. As Ramos find the place to eat, they enter and eat
peacefully.

After they ate, they continue walking finding the owner, however, when they pass to the
squatter area, the dog tried to go down on his arms and ran. Ramos followed the dog and he
found the dog barking to the man who was hitting the little girl. The past memories suddenly
came, all the tears he shed when his stepfather hit him, his father leaving them for another
woman and his uncaring mother.

Out of impulsive decision Ramos went to the man, stop him and punched. And the fight
started. Many people saw the fight, called the tanod and Ramos and man sent to barangay hall
to resolve the problem. However, Ramos decided to put charges to the man for child
harassment. Ramos decided to go to girl and ask for forgiveness for his violence. Also Ramos
ask if he want to lived with him, the girl look hesitant but the dog keeps barking and barking
showing a sign of happiness, minutes later the girl agreed to live with him.

Ramos called his lawyer for helped to put the man to the jailed and process the
adaption paper, then the girl, the dog, and Ramos decided to go home. Many months later, the
petition to adapt was granted and the man was jailed. And Ramos decided to undergo
chemotherapy and all thing that he can do to live longer, so he, the dog, and Chelsea(the little
girl) can do more memories and travel the world, together.

Choose 2: Ignore the dog

Ramos woke up to see the dog licking his face at first he wondered who is the owner
and thinking how to scold whoever the owner is for being irresponsible and for letting the dog
lick someone face. However, when he looked around he found no one, he is the only person in
the abandoned park, so he assumed it's a lost dog or a street dog. Suddenly his stomach make
sound, a sign that he is hungry. So he stood up and when he looked down he saw the dog,
however, he choose to ignore the hopeful dog and decide to go home and stop the test to his
stepbrother and half sister.

Ramos decided to give all his money to the all the charities he supported before and
give his house to his trusted maid and give his company to his trusted lawyer. And Ramos
choose to spend his remaining time to travel the world, alone.
