Fentanyl Lesson Plan

Lesson Topic: The Dangers of Fentanyl

Objectives:
- Students will be able to identify what is fentanyl
- Students will be able to understand the risks of drugs being manufactures with fentanyl
and other substances
- Students will be able to understand what is a fentapill and why there are so many
- Students will be able to understand what they can do about fentapills

Materials:
- Power point slides
- iPads (if students want to take assessment individually)

Introduction (5-10 minutes)

- Take attendance
- Address students about the topic and how important it is to be knowledgeable about
fentanyl
- State fentanyl is right in our community affecting students are some of our local high
schools, but can be found nationally and globally
- Share a personal story (if applicable)

Lesson (15 minutes)

- Present lesson to students with videos and guided questions

Check for understanding (5 minutes)

- Quiz linked about how much do students know about fentanyl from lesson

Closure (5 minutes)
- Address that there are numerous ways for all of us to stay informed and inform others
about the dangers of fentanyl and other drugs
