WHAT IF MONEY GREW ON TREES?

Most of us have heard the expression “Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees”. That statement
is true, but let’s imagine what it would be like if money did grow on trees.
I'm sure most of us would be in heaven. We would no longer have to work long hours or
wait for our paychecks to come in at the end of the month. We could simply walk
outside and pick as much money as we needed. However, if we think about it, this
scenario could lead to some hilarious and dangerous outcomes.
First and foremost, there would be some serious competition for the best trees. People
would start fighting over the best locations to grow their money trees. They would argue
about which soil is the best and which area gets the most sunlight.
Secondly, For a change we might start seeing people actually respect and care about
trees around them, because we human tend to protect stuff from which we can benefit
from materially, not that normal trees are not doing anything for us but money tend to
make people greedy and selfish and eventually this could lead to people hiring tree
guards to protect their trees from would-be thieves.
Moreover, if money grew on trees, everyone could afford transportation, whether their
choice was a plane, a train or a flatbed truck. With a snap of the fingers, they could
have the next available taxi take them to their desired destination or a private helicopter
to head to their secluded mountain hideaway. Also health care would be available for
everyone and anyone. This would also improve the living conditions of people living in
Pakistan.
Imagine waking up in the morning and seeing your neighbor's garden overflowing with
crisp 1000 Rupees note. You would be tempted to try and steal some, but you would
have to be careful not to get caught. However, then there would be no more banks, and
people would have to come up with creative ways to store their cash. Some might use
safes, while others might bury their money in the ground. Some might use their money
as fertilizer to make their trees grow bigger and produce more cash.
Thirdly, the economy would be turned on its head. All of a sudden, everyone would be
rich, and the value of money would plummet. People would start to hoard their cash,
knowing that it could lose its value at any moment. However the drawback to all this
would be that the job market would change drastically there would be no need for
traditional jobs. People would no longer have to work long hours, which will cause a
major decline in the productivity rate of the world.
In conclusion, we can only wish that this happen. This has many benefits but also many
disadvantages. However we can imagine such stuff because that doesn’t cause any
harm.
