Romans 8:16 NLT For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children

Mark 11:24 (ESV) Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have receive
it, and it will be yours.

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the
sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.

Matthew 13:22 ESV As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but
the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful.

1 John 2:15-17 ESV Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world,
the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the
desires of the eyes and pride of life —is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world
is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

Philippians 4:6-7 NLT Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God
what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which
exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in
Christ Jesus.

A. Sensing God’s voice through our spirits

John 6:63 ESV It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have
spoken to you are spirit and life

Romans 8:14 ESV For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
