Consultancy for Forex Risk Management and hedging exposure in currencies and
Metals

Please note that I provide the following personalized consultancy to Firms and Companies
having Foreign currency exposures – mainly importers and exporters.
Based on my unique detailed ‘techno-fundamental analysis’ of world currency markets, I
provide core consultancy to indicate when, where , how much and how to hedge the currency
exposures. The Forex transactions including hedging will continue to be done the Companies’
bankers.
More specifically,
1. The consulting will include a review , inputs, discussions and suggestions on further
refining the existing Forex hedging methodology.
2. Assist in creation / updation of the Forex Risk Management S O P ( standard
Operating Procedures).
3. I shall be tracking currency fluctuations on daily basis and suggesting on the actual
hedging on your current as well as potential receivables / payables and when, where
and how much hedging is required to minimize the impact of price fluctuations in the
US Dollar (USDINR), GBP INR and EUR INR or other currency pairs.
4. A detailed Forex Risk management MIS format will be created / updated so that
proper monitoring and tracking of Forex risk management can be done on a continuous
basis.
5. Regarding system / methodology for hedging receivables and payables, I shall visit
your concerned team / department twice a week for initial four weeks in order to
study in detail the existing system and suggest upon it. Thereafter, once the core Forex
Risk management system is defined, I shall visit once every week.
6. The above services will help in improving the efficiency on getting correct exchange
rates from banks for spot of forward contracts.

Since I shall be keeping continuous regular track of the movement of USDINR, GBP
INR and EUR INR the appropriate levels for hedging are suggested on real-time basis. This
will help in implementing the Forex Risk management system designed in a more efficient
manner.
