Abstract

Strength and conditioning coaches help train athletes stay healthy and perform to their best

ability. They can work in almost any environment whether it be a school, college, professional

sports facility, or even a public gym. They have to have a pretty large plethora of certifications

with most places requiring a bachelor degree at a minimum, while having to constantly renew the

certifications. They also have to stay up to date on athletic training modules and methods. The

average annual salary is about $50,000, but the position is usually part time. This career also has

a predicted 13% growth rate making it a fast growing one. This career helps build personal

connections with people both as an individual and as an athlete.
