LEAVE & HOLIDAY POLICY

The objective of the leave policyu is to ensure all the employees have adequate time away from
work while avoiding the built-up of large amounts annual leave not taken on the company leave
balance sheet.

The leave cycle starts from April 1st and ends on 31st March of every year. An employee will be
entitled to paid leaves of 1.5 days (pro-rata basis) for every month you have worked.

Leave accrued over a year will be carried forward in the next to leave cycle. Please note that in a
leave cycle only 36 leaves will be allowed and approved to be carried forward in the next to leave
cycle year. Any leaves exceeding 36 leaves will lapse.

Leave Application Procedure

1. It is necessary that leave/s are scheduled in advance and in a manner that balances both the
individual's desire and company's need for appropriate coverage on terms and projects.
2. All employees should get e-mail approval (both) from their supervisor with HR team marked on
CC for their casual/sick/planned leaves.

Planned and Unplanned Leave

1. Any leave which have been informed and applied to e-mail prior to the specified date of leave
will be considered as planned leave.

Leave Bifurcation for the year as follows

1. Sick Leave (SL) - 3 per year


2. Earned Leave (EL) - 15 per year
3. These leaves will start accruing from the date of joining; however, will be available for
utilization only after you are a confirmed employee with the organization.
4. Any leave taken during the probation period will be counted as unpaid leave/loss of pay (LOP)
