She told sunset about you

One day I will stop falling in love with you~

Laufey and Conan Gray’s songs are on repeat as river of tears flows down in my

bestfriend’s brown eyes as we have watched sunset together.

“ Where did I go wrong? Am I not enough? Why am I so late? “ she muttered.

“ There’s nothing wrong with you and you are truly is enough. I guess it’s just not the

perfect time for the both of you.” I replied.

12:00 a.m

The moon above shines

Deep thoughts of her starts to rise

Loud voice message greets

“ Eliza OMG! Mathew said hi to me. He asked me to play games with him OMGGG!!!”

she vm me.

“I told you Chelle, he will eventually chat you. Well, I guess have fun-” as I almost

replied to her message, Chelle videocalled me. I automatically answered her.

“ Is that Rex Orange’s song? Oh god! I love him so much I’m a big fan of him.“

Mathew said.

“ Yes it’s his.” Chelle replied blushing.

I rolled my eyes as she replied those words because guess what, she already knew

that Mathew loves Rex so much lol.

“Mathew w-would you like to go catch sunset with us? Me, you, and Eliza.” Chelle

stuttered as she asked him.

“O sure, it would be a pleasure to be with you guys.” Mathew answered delightfully.

And yup there she goes blushing so hardly. I can’t hide how deeply happy I am on

what’s going on between her and Mathew. I just find myself smiling as I saw her

heart happy once again after all these years.

4:00 p.m

I got ready as I am about to go get Chelle but you know what Mathew is really a nice

guy I can tell. He did look out for Chelle whenever I am gone and he makes Chelle

happy all the time. My dad stopped the car right in front of Chelle’s house. She starts

to approach our car and slid right in beside me.

Waves of the sea splash

Both of their sparkled eyes met

Hugs each other’s arm

“Hi Mathew, it’s good to see you.” I greeted him.

“Hello Eliza, it’s good to see you too and by the way thank you for inviting me guys.”

He answered.

“ I love your dress, you look so pretty in every angle.” Mathew inserted as he looked

upon my bestfriend as she twirls in excitement. “You love it? thank you!” she stated.

Every sunset Chelle and I spent together is full of Mathew’s behind it. That day, I saw

how gentle Mathew is and how Chelle’s chaotic thoughts began to fade away. Their

each others’ comfort zone. My heart is on cloud nine as I reminisce that memory. A

month have past I just found out that Mathew is dating a girl. A girl who’s not named

Chelle. I directly called Chelle but no one answered. Screw this, I’m going to her

house. The moment I was at her home. I saw her opening her doorway to let me in.

Pale face and tears are blocked around her eyes as she find herself hugging beneath

my arms. She cried and cried like there’s no tomorrow. I understand what she felt. I
gently tap her back and starts comforting her. “He’s with someone now.” She

muttered those words gently. I was out of words when Chelle told me everything.

Mathew and her are really doing good but the problem is, their untold feelings we’re

never spoken. I’m deeply at blue watching her cry every single day of how her and

Mathew didn’t work out. And here we are, watching the sunset together while she’s

crying and still lost of what have happened months ago. Her phone notifies as

Mathew messages her.

“ Hi Chelle! How are you? I’ve seen your sharedposts on facebook. Was it all about

me?” Mathew chatted. Chelle ignores it a few second and began to reply him.

“ Hello, yup I am all good” Chelle replied as she wiped down her tears. “ It is all about

you, from the very start of it and don’t worry I’m fine those are just jokes.” Chelle

inserted. As I have read those chats of her, I knew how lost she is because I was

there when she started liking Mathew and how she grows her feelings upon him that

he is now a part of her. The hardest part of it all is that Mathew do like and love her. It

could have been Chelle all this time but she confesses to him behind time. Behind

time, Mathew did moved on already and Chelle is still at the day how they first started

talking. Both of them couldn’t take the risk as if they were so scared to ruin what they

already have. But I know that both of them would suit each other.

Her eyes weeps at blue.

She told sunset about you.

It’s always been you.

She doesn’t deserve to be in pain while Mathew is in its happiest. Up till this day,

Chelle would still root for him. They are each others’ bestfriend after all. I guess it’s

just a soulmate that wasn’t meant to be indeed…
