"Puppet?s METAMORPHOSES?

We are pleased to inform you that The Bialystok Puppet Theatre, is

organizing the first edition of The International Festival of Puppet
Theatres for Adults "PUPPET?S METAMORPHOSES? in Bialystok, on 18-24
June 2015.

The organization of the Festival is intended to break the stereotyped

perception of puppet theatre as a theatre for children and is aimed to
inspire each other and to present and promote the theatre, theatre
groups and the art of puppetry for adults.

At the festival we will present one of the best puppet theatre

performances and the most valuable phenomena, original artistic means
of expression and trends in contemporary puppet theatre for adults in
Poland and all over the world.

During the festiwal will take place a Conference "PUPPET?S

METAMORPHOSES? organized by Aleksander Zelwerowicz State Theatre
Academy in Warsaw Department of Puppetry Art in Bialystok and Polish
Section o AITC/IATC.

The Conference is designed to be a platform for the exchange of

opinions and ideas about metamorphoses of puppet theatre. The language
of the conference is English (with simulaenous polish translation).
Each contributor will be given 20 minutes to present his/her paper.
Participants in the conference are warmly welcomed to take part in the
Festival.
We would be very pleased if You come to Bialystok and be a part of
Conference and Festival. We guarantee accommodation during all
Festival and transport on the route Warsaw - Bialystok - Warsaw.
Probably we will be participate in Your travel costs.
