Part 2

Write a poem.

Time

You govern my every day.

There is nothing I can do

to change it or stop it.

It's inevitable to change your course.

Sometimes I want to cherish or hold you.

But in reality, most of the time I lose you.

It is impossible to make you any faster or slower.

Even though sometimes I pretend to save you for later.

You transport me to my past.

I feel how you travel through my thoughts

like a shooting star that comes and goes.

You leave physical and spiritual marks

which help us mature every day.

And without any doubt you always

bring with your truth.

Figurative language in my poem:

1.Metaphors:

a. In the first stanza said that no matter what you do, the time takes its course and governs us.

b .In the second stanza said I would like to keep time but you lose it.

and goes" (In this sentence also has an alliteration “through my thoughts".
