4 pillars
1) Markets with low barriers to entry.
You might want to find a region that has a need, but not

FOR GOING GLOBAL a lot of competition, for a solution like yours.

2)Lookalike markets.

Consider starting in a market similar to the one you’re

currently in. For example, many northern European countries
1) Conduct
are similar to emerging markets in the U.S. This can be a good
jumping-off point compared to introducing a brand new

THROUGH MARKET
product in a totally unknown market.

3)Competitors in that market.

RESEARCH Once you’ve chosen a market, run a competitive
analysis. When did they penetrate that market? How did
they do it? What’s their adoption rate? How and why are
people using their services? What problems are they
solving for their customers? How can you differentiate
yourself from your competitors?
2) GET TO KNOW YOUR

TOTAL MARKET
Obviously, language can be a huge barrier if
you’re from an English-speaking country selling
into a non-English-speaking country. If you
need to market in a different language, tap into
local speakers or hire an agency to help. But
there are other barriers to consider, too. In
order to nail down your messaging, you need to
know your audience — their business, values,
and culture.
3) CREATE YOUR

MARKETING PLAN

Once you understand who you’re targeting you can start building

out your marketing plan, including when, where, and how you go to

market.

4) ESTABLISH A

LOCAL PRESENCE

After you get enter the market, establish your local

presence in that country or market. Holding and
Attending the events in the local market helps in
attracting the customers more easily, spread
awareness. Hold physical and virtual events both.
