The Scholarship of discovery is a process of creating new knowledge or

validation of existing knowledge, focused on research, peer review and

dissemination of results. It applied through

 Peer-reviewed publications of research, theory.

 Presentations of research, theory, or philosophical essays.

The scholarship of integration : The generation of new knowledge and

:perspectives from the examination of original work. It applied through

various disciplines who work together to develop a more holistic view of a
common concern.
 Discovering patterns that bring new meaning to previous sources of

The Scholarship of teaching : Creativity in developing origin educational

 using a variety of teaching methods that actively involve students in the
