Joining Instructions

Road Marching Training Day – Saturday 18th March 2023

Surrey Wing will be holding the third training event in preparation for the team selection for
Nijmegen Marches 2023.

Eligibility - Enrolled Cadet

- Aged 16 or over on Friday 14th July 2023
- Hold a minimum of Road Marching Blue Badge

Location – 1349 (Woking) Squadron, Hoe Valley Community Building, Woking Park, Kingfield
Road, Woking, GU22 9BA

Travel arrangements - Travel will not be provided to and from this training day and every cadet
is responsible for making their own way to and from the activity.

Timings – All cadets must arrive at 07:45 and be collected at 16:00.

Messing – No messing will be provided for this activity and all personnel are to bring sufficient
food and drink for the duration of the activity.

Dress – Dress for the day will be No 3 service dress (MTP/DPM) for marching including
Smock/Jacket.

Equipment - All cadets are to be in possession of the items listed at Annex A as well as a
completed consent form (TG021 & TG023 where necessary).

Cost – This training day will cost £5.00.

Any cadet arriving at the activity without a consent form will not be permitted to
participate in this activity.
