Abstract: The E-voting system offers internet voting. To stop voter fraud, we use two different levels of
security. As the first level of security, a web camera records the voter's face and uploads it to the database.
After that, the person's face is compared to the face in the database to verify its authenticity. The two faces
are compared with the help of the Local Binary Pattern algorithm. The plan's foundation is combining two
images and assigning a value to a central pixel. Those central pixels will have values of either 0 or 1. If the
value is less than a pixel, a histogram of the labels is calculated and used as a descriptor.

I. INTRODUCTION
The basic idea of this system is to create an Online Voting System that will help to suppress deception of the manual
voting system and also the use of existing versions of online voting systems by using a camera for Face Recognition
and adding OTP generation. We are also implementing a location-free voting system for the voters for whom it is not
possible to come to the voting location (hometown). Here we are going to make a system that will be having a multi-
layer verification and ensures that it is reliable by using face verification and then OTP verification with valid data.
Each voter can access the system only when being recognized and checked with the given database of enlisted
voters.Once the corresponding face is matched with the information provided, the voter will be allowed to proceed with
choosing their preferred candidate from the panel.

1.1 Need for System

An online voting system is a voting system in which the election data is recorded, stored, and processed primarily as
digital information and it needs to address, obtain, mark, deliver, and count ballots via computer..

1.2 Motivation
Electronic voting technology intends to speed up the counting of ballots, reduce the cost of paying staff to count votes
manually, and can provide improved accessibility for disabled voters. In long term, expenses of all the process will
reduce gradually and mainly the results can be declared very rapidly.

II. LITERATURE REVIEW

This chapter provides an overview of relevant existing research on the problem domain. This was done to see what
kinds of data and other materials had been used in earlier studies and to see if the current study could fill in any gaps.
The democratic method by which citizens can choose their representatives is election. Due to the fact that democracy
and the freedom of citizens are at stake in an election, the voting process is seen as very important and delicate. As a
result, numerous requirements must be met for election implementation to ensure a trustworthy election. In 1629, Rome
used hand-written ballots to select a Salem church pastor for the first time in 139 BCE. Early paper ballots provided
voters with little privacy, making them easy prey for a variety of election fraud schemes. The ongoing paper voting
form political decision technique was interestingly used in Australia in 1858. Australia's most significant innovation
was printing standard ballots at the expense of the government, giving them to voters at polling places, and requiring
them to vote and return the ballots immediately. The majority of observers in the nineteenth century did not realize this

ballot could prevent election fraud until 1888, and it was not used in the United States
States until that year. In Australia, a
properly administered paper ballot protects voters' privacy and prevents them from disclosing how they voted, ensuring
an impartial and accurate count. E-voting
voting is a method for voting online that lets people use laptops, mobile phones, and
other devices. In this voting system, votes are recorded, cast, and counted on the mobile device itself. Where previous
research ended, this continues.

III. OBJECTIVES AND GOALS

 To develop an android visual studio-based
studio E-voting system to be used in mobile applications or other
applications.
 It must be Database driven to keep track of voters Administrator and user-level
user level access.
 To firmly
irmly understand mobile technology.
 It must allow voters to register and vote online coming up with an automated/online
automated/online voting system validating
the system to ensure that only eligible voters are allowed to vote.

V. ACTIVITY DIAGRAM

VI. CONCLUSION
Our proposed solution is android based with which allows the voter to register and he/she can vote from anywhere
irrespective of the location. This system provides security from fake voting as none can cast a vote more than once.
This system is more reliable in which we can vote from multiple locations. It also minimises wor
work, human requirements
and time resources.
