15-way D-type – power and COM 1 and alarm relay

i The auxiliary alarm contact is capable of switching up to 24 V DC at up to 1A


(inductive load). The contacts are not connected to any internal voltages.
i The power supply input is isolated from the case and antenna. It must remain
within the range 10.8 – 31.2 V DC (12/24 V DC nominal) at all times.

Connecting a Printer
The recommended external printer option is the Seiko DPU-414; the default printer
parameters are set correctly for this model. The printer should be connected to COM
2 of the SMARTFIND GMDSS NAVTEX (the 9-way D-type socket at the rear):
DPU-414 pin 3 (RxD) to SMARTFIND GMDSS NAVTEX pin 7 (TxA)
DPU-414 pin 5 (Gnd) to SMARTFIND GMDSS NAVTEX pin 2 (TxB)
