1. Considering the current issues and challenges of PH security, how does globalization affect the

PH security landscape at; national sphere and domestic sphere?

PHILIPINES security, every year there’s a lot of new

conflicts regarding to the national security, we have this so called common threats such as cyberspace

threats, human security at large, human security, government corruption and military invasion. We also

have this nontraditional threats like coronavirus pandemic, climate change and other environmental

challenges. But of course Philippine Government always seek for the better solution for every shit

occurs. And the meeting about Philippines security threats is held in “The National Security Council” it is

the President's principal forum for national security and foreign policy decision making with his or her

senior national security advisors and cabinet officials, and the President's principal arm for coordinating

these policies across federal agencies.

National sphere: National sphere deals with the territory of the Philippines, National value, Culture

harmony. Globalization works when organization develop international influence or start operating on

an international scale, now through the help of globalization PH security become stronger when it

comes to its territory. Example other countries invasion towards to Philippines, other countries can’t just

easily attack our national security because we are part of UN and the UN aims to harmonize each

countries part of it or help other countries in need. That’s why globalization improves our national

sphere security.

Domestic sphere- The domestic sphere is associated with privacy, family, intimacy and self-
expression. Domestic life takes place away from the public gaze but is nevertheless
associated with public issues of gender, work, and safety. The history of domestic life
reveals that a variety of social and economic forces have prompted significant change over
time in what home life involves and the types of people who participate in it.

2.What key drivers of security are we supposed to focus on (3 drivers only)

Security of energy and natural resources-

because of the continuing of severe climate change, PH

security should focus on our land specially the natural resources our country has. We don’t know when a

severe onslaught strike to us so we should prioritize

Infrastructure security-
against physical and cyber threats. From an IT standpoint, this typically
includes hardware and software assets such as end-user devices, data center
resources, networking systems, and cloud resources.
