- Based on the video I’ve watched, the 5 different operative functions of human resource
management are; (1) recruit & retain top notch talent, (2) act as mentors, (3) create
career development program, (4) resolve conflicts and (5) create a positive work
environment.

 RECRUIT and RETAIN TOP NOTCH TALENT


- - It is defined as introducing the right prospects and retaining them as employees.
Employee retention rates are good indication of how great it is to work for your
company. It is not only the result of a motivated and hardworking employees, but it also
rewards the organization with a positive and appealing reputation.

 ACT AS MENTORS
- It is defined as an employee training system in which a senior or more experienced
person is assigned to act as a trainee's advisor, counselor, or guide. It is in charge of
providing assistance and feedback to a trainee or employee.

 CREATE CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM


- It is defined as an organization's support for employee professional growth, particularly
for employees moving to a new position or project within the organization. It is a
tailored strategy to help employees achieve their career objectives.

 RESOLVE CONFLICTS
- It is defined as the formal and informal process used by two or more parties to resolve a
dispute peacefully. It is also the process of finding a solution to a problem.

 CREATE A POSITIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT


- It is defined as a work environment that fosters collaboration, safety, trust, risk-taking
support, equity, and accountability. As part of human resource management, you
should strive for values, trust, and a spirit of teamwork.
