VW TRELLEBORG Lifetime of Trelleborg EPDM seals 1. Scope: The lifetime of our Trelleborg EPDM seals in use has been determined according ISO 11346. For the determination of the lifetime the stress relaxation of the EPDM seals was tested according ISO 3384. The chosen treshold value as the degree of degradation that is the maximum acceptable for the property being tested and the end use is 50% of the initial value (see ISO 11346, section 6). 2.
