1. PURPOSE
1.1 Recognize the contribution and commitment of long service employees of Right to Care to encourage
valuable staff to remain with the organisation, creating long term HR value and sustainability.

2. PERSONS AFFECTED
2.1 This policy applies to all permanent employees of Right to Care.

3. EXCLUSION
3.1 All Consultants, Locums, Fixed Term Employees (anyone who is not a permanent employee).

4. POLICY STATEMENT AND APPLICATION


4.1 Employees will be recognized for their long service with the company as follows:
4.1.1 Upon completion of 5 years of service the employee will receive:
4.1.2 Certificate of Service
4.1.3 Engraved Right to Care Pen

4.2 Upon completion of 10 years of service the employee will receive:


4.2.1 Certificate of Service
4.2.2 Engraved Right to Care Pen
4.2.3 A once off – additional payment based on 50% of their monthly cash component of their salary (to be
paid in the month of achieving the 10-year service)

4.3 Upon completion of 15 and 20 years of service the employee will receive:
4.3.1 Certificate of Service
4.3.2 Engraved Right to Care Pen
4.3.3 A once off – additional payment based on 100% of their monthly cash component of their salary (to be
paid in the month of achieving the 15- or 20-year service).

5. RESPONSIBILITY
5.1 The Chief Human Resources Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance to this policy/procedure.

6. IMPLEMENTATION AND EFFECT


6.1 This policy will come into effect on the date of signature by the Chief Human Resources Officer and will
remain in effect until it is reviewed by the Company. The Company is entitled to amend or change the policy
at its sole discretion.
