 A set of moral principles : a theory or system of moral values.

2.CYBER ETHICS
 Refers to a set of moral rules or a code of behaviour applied to the online
environment.

3.ETHICAL THEORIES
a.Deontology  ethical theories that place special emphasis on the relationship
between duty and the morality of human actions. The term deontology is derived from
the Greek deon, “duty,” and logos, “science.”

b.Utilitarianism  an ethical theory that determines right from wrong by focusing on


outcomes.

c.Rights  Rights are safeguards that protect the interests of the rights-bearer.

d.Virtues  it defines good actions as ones that display embody virtuoud character
traits,like courage,loyalty,or wisdom.A virtue itself is a disposition to act,think and feel in
certain ways.

4.CODE OF ETHICS
 A guilding set of principles intended to instruct professionals to act in a manner that is
honest and that is beneficial to all stakeholders involved.

5.EXAMPLES OF CODE ETHICS


a. I will treat others as I wish to be treated.
b. I will be honest and transparent in my personal and professional life.
c. I will keep my promises and honor my commitments.
d. I am dedicated to continually improving myself.
e. I will remain accountable for my shortcomings or mistakes.
