member. How, then, does genetics affect our chance of developing certain diseases and
disorders? Write your response in the space below in complete sentences.
It is clear that we cannot develop these diseases only because of our ancestors, but our
ancestors do play a crucial role in our genes and there is a problem because we share our genes
and our body is dependent on our genes, especially our cells with the passage of time adapting.
to our lifestyle and that is why it is important to know the history of our ancestors so as not to
have the same life and not have the same problems.
2. If heart disease runs in my family, how can I prevent or prolong my chance of developing
heart disease? List five (5) factors we can control.
a.  Choose a healthy eating plan.

c.  Find a doctor and have regular wellness exams.

My grandfather on my mother's side died 1 year ago of a heart attack, so that would be my
biggest health risk, my heart, that's why I never stop exercising, I always exercise, I try to be
as little stressed as possible so that my mind is at peace. and focused and also my family has
been a bit prone to addictions that's why I don't like parties I avoid them at all costs and I
prefer to keep my mind busy with what I like to do the most and with positivity.
