SURROUNDING :

Surrounding is an area around someone or something .

THINGS WHICH WE CAN SEE IN OUR SURROUNDING :

Plants , animals , insects , people , birds , sea , buildings , vehicles etc..

ENVIRONMENT :

* Environment consists of air , water and land around us . It consists of

everything around us like birds , animals , people , insects , buildings ,
vehicles , sea etc…

* Environment provides all our needs .

It provides air to breath.

It provides water to drink .

It provides food to eat .

It provides clothes to wear .

* Environment includes living and non living things .

Example :- plants , animals , people , insects , bird , air , water , buildings ,

soil , vehicle s etc…

* Environment also includes natural and artificial things .

Example :- soil , water , air ,plants , people , animals , furniture , clothes ,

vehicles , buildings etc….
TYPES OF ENVIRONMENT :
1. NATURAL ENVIRONMENT :-

Natural environment means all living and non-living things occuring

natural, meaning not because of human.

2 . MAN MADE ENVIRONMENT :-

The human-made space in which people live, work etc…. is

called man made environment .

These resources are having limited supply .

Example :-

Fossil fuel , coal etc…

HOW TO KEEP OUR SURROUNDING CLEAN :

1 . We must keep our surroundings neat and clean.

2. Do not litter on the road or in your neighbourhood. Littering causes land, air
and water pollution.

3. Try planting trees and plants that will beautify our surroundings as well as
keep us healthy.

4. Waste or garbage should not be thrown anywhere, and everywhere, but only
in dust bins.

5. Controlling the use of plastic bags will also help to keep our surroundings
clean.

6. Dirtying our surroundings will only cause harm to us.

7. Keep the surroundings clean and live happy and healthy lives.
