1. SPECIFICNESS - Rate the specificness of this goal from 1-5, with 1 being broad and 5
being very specific
2. MEASURABILITY - Enumerate your method of measuring whether you’ve achieved the
goal in the end. Example, your goal is to not have any grades lower than 2, so your
means of measuring will be your prelim and midterm numeric grades
3. ACHIEVABILITY - Evaluate your skills and capabilities with regards to achieving this
goal. Rate it from 1-5, with 1 being not achievable and 5 being very achievable
4. RELATIVITY TO LONG-TERM GOAL - Explain briefly how this will help you achieve
your long-term goal
5. TIMEFRAME - Set a specific timeframe for when you will achieve this goal. Example,
one week before end of semester or midterm grades releasing
