Psychology is the scientific study of human mind, its mental characteristics and its functions, especially

those affecting behaviors in a given context. It all actively involves studying an understanding mental
processes, brain functions and their behaviors. With psychology it enables us to know human behaviors
and help us to understand why we act the way we do. The field of psychology offers insights into our
human experiences and connects with others.

There are different type of psychology namely; cognitive, forensic, social and development psychology.
Cognitive psychology is a study on how the interaction of thinking, emotion, creativity and problem-
solving abilities on how and why you think the way you do. Forensic psychology this is the study of
criminal behaviors it helps the researchers to know whether the suspect knew right from wrong at the
time of crime.

Social psychology deals with the study of how individual or a group behavior is influenced by the
presence and behavior of others and development psychology it is a scientific study of how and why
human grow in both physically and emotionally, change, and adapt across the course of their lives span
from childhood to adulthood.

Essentially, psychology help people in large part because it can explain why people act the way they do,
hence wit this kind of insight, a psychologist can help people improve their decision making, stress
management and behaviors based on understanding past behavior to better predict future behavior.

There are two type of cultures namely; material culture and immaterial culture. Material culture is
culture of tangible items such as technology, architecture and art while immaterial culture is the culture
of surrounding beliefs, mythology, values, they are non-physical objects. Since now we are all in digital
world I take part in material culture because the world is full of technology and everything is technology.

For a good cross-culture understanding improves communication between people from different
cultures, it help to create a work environment of equal opportunity and also it help us to develop
knowledge and understanding of our own culture background and biases. Therefore its better to have a
good communication for better culture.
