{And a part of the night, stand in vigil…}

is a divine command.
{And by the early light, they ask forgivness}
is an act of gratitude.
{Those seeking forgiveness in the early dawn}
is a remembrance of Allah.

- focus not on the fact, but the implementation of that.

The Summary of Knowledge

is that you know
what obedience and worship
really are.

Know that Obedience and Worship

are to follow the Lawgiver’s
commands and prohibitons
in speech and deed
in accordance with the Sacred Law.

even animals woke up to worship even though its not their waking time.

“In the dead of the night, a dove was weeping

Atop a branch, while I was sleeping
I’ve lied - by God’s House! – for if I was in love
I would not be outraced to weep by a dove!
I claim longing and love for My Lord, yet I lie:
While I do not weep, even animals cry!”

3 types of people dressing up sins as act of obedience

1. too laxed

Knowledge and Action 2. extremist

without following the Sacred Law
3. bid'aah
are misguidance.

- the path of tasawwuf and orthodox syariah is the same

- you will not be brought to life unless you slain your ego with the light of
A loose tongue
knowledge of Allah
with a closed heart
filled with distraction and desire
is a sign of eternal damnation.

- you have to get there to understand.

Know that there are some issues

that cannot be explained
through writing and speech;
when you reach that state,
you will know what they are…
but it’s impossible to learn them
because they are experiential.
